Have you tried renaming the files in the form of whatever.pl.txt and then renaming them back again once they're saved?

How would that work when it doesn't even let him save them? Makeshifts last the longest.	[reply]

I meant renaming them before they were sent via email (and telling others to do the same). It sounded as if this was an ongoing problem in exchanging Perl programs on a regular basis with people he/she knows.	[reply]
