Just a quick question - I've been using FullPage Chat for the first time over the past few days, but have run into a problem in that the page won't let me post from the fullpage chat window itself.

I can post, but I have to keep a second window open to the Monastary Gates and use the "talk" box on there.

In addition, the fullpage chat loses my user settings (CSS, prefs, stuff like that), and any links I click on in there are served as if I'm logged out.

Is this something weird with my browser (Mozilla 1.2.1 on WinNT 4 sp 4) or is there something special I need to do to preserve my login across the session? I'm already using "Remember Me" when I log in, so it's not that, I don't think.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My first guess would be that you are using a bad link to get to fullpage chat. A link like chat will log you out unless you logged in via perlmonks.com [ as opposed to www.perlmonks.com or any of the other 4 host names matching /^(www\.)?perlmonks\.(org|com|net)$/ ].

A valid link would be like chat or fullpage chat. Try that one.

It may be your browser, it may be the PerlMonks servers.

Are you logging into perlmonks.com or perlmonks.org? If you log into one, and FPC presents you with links to the other (I believe, .org) you'll be logged out because your cookie is for the wrong domain.
