Hi all,

I'm looking for some wisdom here. I'm a Perl beginner and I need to create a socksified FTP connection to retrieve some files from a server outside my firewall. Is there the possibility of using the Net::FTP module for this?

    have you looked at Net::Socks?
    It appears to support what you are describing.
