An interesting Python article is now up on Yahoo. (No, I don't know Python)

It's good press for us "interpreted programming languages".

To my surprise, article has constantly compared Python with Java or C++, Not even once our favorite language is mentioned which shares the same nature 'interpreted' with language praised.

It's a decent article on Python. My first reaction is "So why have you told us about it?" Are you saying that the Perl community needs something mentioned in the article? Are you curious about Python and wondering what our views on the language are? Or is it just neat to see a decent overview of a programming language somewhere besides an advocacy forum?

I guess it's good press for interpreted languages. It seems to be better press for Python, though ;-)
