Using Perl to run OpenOffice 1.0.1

Wonko El Sano has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Does anyone know how to make OpenOffice 1.0.1 print documents from a script (or command line)? I've done it before with AbiWord but I would rather have it work with OpenOffice. I've looked all over OpenOffice's website but haven't found anything useful yet. Thanks Wonko El Sano
