Just wanted to say that this saved my life right now ;) I've been on a long seek for a solution to seeing no parent dir's with Tk::DirSelect. Adding the override code to the module makes it work like it should on Win32. I'll tell the author of Tk::Dirselect about it so that he can include it in the module. Lars
