Accept defaults on CC flags
path to CC Linker = you will need to ensure it points to GCC
Accept defaults on CC linker flags
Linker path = /usr/bin/ld
Accecpt defaults on linker flags
Accept defaults on install directory/man paths/etc
Static executable = y if not already default
Select defaults to dir name
Select NO to actually building - VERY IMPORTANT
[download]

That is how I got it to work on my machine
