That's strange. I've tried it just now and it worked fine:

Perl is Active State 5.6.1 and I've tried PPM 3.0.1 and 2.1.6, neither of which works. I also tried VPM, but had no luck there either.	[reply]

Strange, strange, strange. I tried it with Perl 5.6.1 (build 631), PPM 2.1.5 and 3.0 beta 3 and it worked fine each time. Could you try to download http://jenda.krynicky.cz/perl/Win32-MemMap.ppd and http://jenda.krynicky.cz/perl/Win32-MemMap-2.02-PPM.tar.gz, put them to the same directory and install by `ppm install c:\temp\Win32-MemMap.ppd` [download] ?
