The Turtoise and the Hare are having a race.
The Turtoise is T, the Hare is H.
both can slip back.
first to get to the finish line wins.

save to a file and run multiple times to get the feel of it.

He who asks will be a fool for five minutes, but he who doesn't ask will remain a fool for life.

    The hare was winning way too much for my taste, so I had to modify their movement.
    @t=qw/3 3 2 2 2 1 1 1 0 0/; @h=qw/0 0 9 9 -6 4 3 -1 -1 -2/;
    Now, after another 15 minutes of wasting my life, I can get back to work. *Grins*

    Do you perchance mean tortoise? ;)

    And from your sig -- "He who asks will be a fool for five minutes, but he who doesn't ask will remain a fool for life." That really depends on the question, don'tcha think? (oooh, I'm so funny today)
