Hi monks,
Well, this might not be the right way to do it, but I need to ask -
When I reply to some message in a node I rarely get additional feedback. I believe this is since people don't follow nodes more then 1-2 hour.
Since I need to sleep from time to time, I might send replies in a delay of few hours, and this way I get "off the road" for answers.
Please let me know a better way to keep a node alive, and meanwhile - you are welcome to follow the node I opened yesterday.

Heh, no. You're mistaken on that. Messages are frequently followed up to a few days at a time and often things are added months or years after the fact. Anyhow, there is a user setting that has the perlmonks server send you a private message when you have replies. Just set that and you're good to go. This thing with posting new times to "keep things fresh" is rude though - don't do it (but you didn't know that before).

[Added You'll get more out of perlmonks if you skim some of the information (the relevant bits) from PerlMonks FAQ. Also, please learn to link. Your original thread (Re: Re: Changing -> to work within a string) is linked to by writing [id://244403].]

      Thanks a lot,
I did not mean to be rude (though I was lazy...)
      TIA,
      shushu
