More GOOEY (GUI) fun for everyone. I'm using Tk::JComboBox for some drop down menu's and I'm trying to figure out how to trigger an event when the person selects a new value on the list. . .

On a second note, I'm also haven't problems making event field's update as well. . . if anyone know's how to get the text to change in a Entry box, I would like some advice there as well. (all the information is making it, just not sure how to go about actually changing the text in those.

Rather well-hidden in the docs is the -selectcommand option to the class constructor. This lets you provide a callback (in the usual Tk style) to be invoked whenever a user selects an item from the list. See the JComboBox manual page at search.cpan.org.
