What type of spreadsheet do you want to parse? For Excel, I use Spreadsheet::ParseExcel or Spreadsheet::ParseExcel::Simple. Once you have the data out of the spreadsheet, XML::Simple is an easy way to encode it in XML. -Matt	[reply]

I find Spreadsheet::ParseExcel tedious, and would actually reccomend DBD::Excel instead. But that's just me. -nuffin zz zZ Z Z #!perl	[reply]

Personally I prefer Spreadsheet::ParseExcel::Simple over Spreadsheet::ParseExcel. `my $xls = Spreadsheet::ParseExcel::Simple->read('spreadsheet.xls'); foreach my $sheet ($xls->sheets) { while ($sheet->has_data) { my @data = $sheet->next_row; } }` [download] You could then probably use something like XML::Writer to dump the parsed data to XML. -- vek --	[reply] [d/l]
