I once came across an O'Reilly Python Forum during a search for other information.

It's certainly not as complete as The Monastery, but it might be of use to you.

Looks like an opportunity for someone to become the "Vroom" of Python ;-)

      Shame..it was a good idea
      Ther reason is 'SPAM'. I would say it should be controlled by many person as in perlmonks to effectively remove the spam. But it also can be handled single handed if volume is low.
