I fell in love when I saw Lingua::Romana::Perligata - it summed up for me a lot of what I enjoyed about perl. I even mailed TheDamian to enthuse about it (and d*** near offered to have his babies). I never got around to actually doing any until now though. I know it's a bit of an obfu cheat, but it's all good encouraging fun, and I've included a readmore breakdown for non-perligaties. The output is an ancient bit of Latin nonsense used in card trickery.

$mutus = "MUSTCODEINPERLIGATA"; @nomen = (0,1,3,1,2,6,7,6,8,3,9,5,0,7,9,4,5,4,8,2); $count =0; foreach $index(@nomen) { print substr($mutus,$index,1); unless (++$var %5) { print "\n"; } }

How could *anyone* ever think TheMan was evil? :)
Have Fun
