Idea for adding to flexibility and usability of PM searches:
provide a check-box at Super Search for "search within root-nodes only".
Of course, this wouldn't replace Super Search or the regular search.

I'd use it.   What do fellow Monks say?

    That sounds useful. It is probably pretty easy to implement, as well.

    While we're on the searching wish-list, I'd like to add a request for the ability to search keywords. I'm nowhere near religious about keywords, but I would like to see keyword "hits" added to the plain search. If an author takes the time to add some keywords to his/her post, we should consider those keywords as highly as the title, IM(ns)HO.

    I'd save keystrokes by adding a home node button that said "vroom++ for adding useful functions to PM"   <grin>
