Hmm, Perl might well be overkill in that case. Why not just use aliases in your normal shell or symlinks?

Your absolutely right it may be overkill, BUT. perl CAN do it, and will do it well, and to be honest i want to learn perl real bad and this is one of the few things i could think of making to get me started.	[reply]
