See http://rcswww.urz.tu-dresden.de/~sr21/crc.html. This gives the value of 0xBB3D for the checksum of "123456789" (for CRC-16, the one you want). This seems to be the correct value if you do a google search.

The reference implementation seems to be the one from Ross William's Painless Guide
