There isn't, but bleadperl has been calling itself 5.9.0
for a while now. I think it's time (as in "quite some time
has passed since the 5.9.x development track has started",
not in "there has been done a lot of new exciting things the
last year") we saw a 5.9.0 release. But I doubt that's going
to happen anytime soon.
