      I hate it when this happens. I checked Perl News before I posted. I even checked Merlyn's postings to see if he said anything about it. I went through weeks of past posts to see if I could find anything. I guess next time I should use super search. *sigh*

      I was fortunate enough to have been given an advanced copy of merlyn's new book so that I could do a review of it for Unix Review.  If you want to read my review, it was just posted on UR's web site.  The quick review is that he did a great job and y'all need to buy a copy.

      By the way, that is an alpaca which is related to the lama.  They're both part of the camel family. The alpaca is smaller and it's wool makes for wonderful sweaters I'm told.
