You should be able to follow the directions given in the comments for -Mouse. Go to a command prompt and type:

assoc .pl=Perl
ftype Perl=perl -Mouse "%1" %*
[download]

ActivePerl documentation recommends that you provide an absolute path to perl.exe even if it is defined in %PATH%. By the way, their example for Windows 98 does not work since they omitted the quotation marks around the input argument list. I use "%1 %*" and it works fine.	[reply]
