bobdeath has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Ok, I have used the Tk::Adjuster Widget a few times, and I must say this widget drives me crazy. I can't get it to adjust the way I want to on program start up and that little box that lies on it really annoys me. I have seen widgets out there that adjust, without the Adjuster widget (such as Tk::JComboBox), but I really don't want to spend the time digging around inside other widgets to get this code. I was just wondering if there was any standardized alternative.

If the goal is to have a couple of frames or text boxes with a divider that you can drag back and forth, try Tk::SplitFrame.
