a, b, c, d and g cannot be zero, so only (combined) numbers which are accepted by the following regex are candidates /[1-9][1-9][1-9][1-9][0-9][0-9][1-9]0-9][0-9]/ This should weed out a bit more numbers than your regex.a b c d e f g h i
