Dougmj has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Does any one know of a browser with cookies/javascript/ssl that will let me see it's out-going headers? I am trying to log in to a site with LWP and I just can't seem to get the request right. --Thanks Douglas

I just noticed you said you are trying to log into a site using LWP. You might want to check out WWW::Mechanize, which should make your life a lot easier when dealing with forms and screenscraping.

If you download and installethereal (www.ethereal.com) you'll be able see everything that's happening.

If you are using Windows you could use Achilles Proxy Server. It allows you to view the outgoing headers and even change them. You just set your browser up to use localhost as a proxy server.
