    Yes, I was the one who asked it. For some reason I wasn't able to make any of the fixes (which admittedly looked very promising at first) work.

      Then you need to give us some more help. Without error messages or the like, nobody will be able to help you.

      What error messages come up if you type in your command-prompt: 

      ppm install http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/GD.ppd

        Oh my god! You're my hero! It worked, which is strange because uwinnipeg is included in my ppm settings and I wasn't able to install with ppm before.
