Hello, Thanks for all the help in past. I've gleaned many useful perl tips and tricks from previous postings. But now I stuck. I'm attempting to runa a clearcase command cleartool describe replica_name:replica@vob_name I'm not sure why but the @ acts link a newline. I've put \ in front but to no avail. Any clues? Brian

    Could you include the specific line(s) of code that seem to be behaving oddly? Also the output from the code

      Never mind. Paint me a big doofus. I was not chopping off the linefeed after I got a list of replicas. Thanks, Brian
