The node navigator nodelet gives links to adjacent nodes, nodes of the same type, and nodes by the same author.

Perlmonks is not a book, however it's not less interesting. How about someone is on the PM journey and want to read all the perlmonks nodes starting from 1,2,3.... (wherever possible). Thus a link within node-navigator--> 'next node' to visit in sequence for 'me' would do good. It's like starting where you left-off. This link will be specific to user and not specific to the current node.

Current methods to achieve this could include msgbox, personal nodelet, browser bookmarking or scratchpad, however not as elegant as described above.

    This was already implemented by tilly as Perlmonks Navigator - which does allow you to browse PerlMonks in a sequential order.

      Thanks Corion. tye's solution looks really handy. The bit we can further add is by having 'next' and 'prev' root nodes, else, we may visit many nodes twice or more in the navigation. Site integration would be required here.
