Error installing Time::HiRes on Red Hat 9

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I need to install the module mentioned above for Mon. I am using Red Hat Linux 9.0 with 2.4.2.20 kernel. I get a eroor message in make at line 91. I am trying to install this using cpan utility to install.

Please help me if you can.
