Taulmarill has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello Monks,
i´m searching a nice Perl Module for making some dynamic Web-Graphics.
Way back i used an old Version of GD.pm (so old it could onli generate .gif, no .png) which made very ugly looking circles. Now i get an own server an can insall all modules i need/want :-)

Any sugestions what to use?

It shoud have 24Bit .png output and shoud be able do insert .png snippets with accurate transperancy which i wantet to use for assembling the image.
Additionaly it shoud do anti-alising on shapes and fonts.

Thanks,
Taulmarill

I believe Image::Magick fulfils your requirements and possibly the new module on the block Imager but I'm not certain.
