    Yes, you present a good argument against .NET with this article, but truthfully I just finished a large project with it, and I thought it was pretty slick. Perhaps someday I'll get the time to learn something else for GUI's in Perl, but until then, I'm very comfortable and happy with .NET. Its great for anyone who knows Java and C#. I'm pretty new to Perl, so its a lot easier for me to take it a spoonful at a time if you know what I mean!
