It might be more interesting to ask what other languages the Monks speak/read/write and how well. I suggest the following scale:

I suggest this because the information might be useful for i18n efforts.

Yes, I know. A lot of you have looked at my code and must have wondered what I was doing with all my time because I certainly wasn't learning Perl. Now you know I'm a bit of a tart when it comes to languages. ;)
