Actually, the 2nd edition of the Ram is pre-order only: it's due in August. Hopefully, with gnat back from OSCON, he'll be able to get it out in time.	[reply]

Looks like it'll be September. http://use.perl.org/comments.pl?sid=14266&cid=22192 In related news, at OSCON I saw/heard multiple references to a 4th Edition of Programming Perl, though there were no details and it's not listed on O'Reilly's site. I assume it would be to cover 5.8.x. - Matt Riffle	[reply]

The regex reference is also due out in August. I'm wondering if it will cover the Perl 6 grammar rule syntaxes too, or list the available Regex::Common choices. -- `[ e d @ h a l l e y . c c ]`	[reply]
