With my apologies for feeding the trolls, but...
Why would you care if he makes money?
I don't. Whatever gave you the impression that I did?
So what? He's trying to learn. You could have easily been helpful and pointed him towards some educational resources.
When someone claims to have a "network security business", but apparently doesn't have the grade school math to appreciate that brute forcing 16 character passwords would probably require every computer ever built to run for longer that the universe has been in existance, then I am apt to take the first claim with a large pinch of salt. When that claim is made in order to justify the reasons for trying to do something, that even if it could be done in a realistic timeframe, would have absolutely nothing to do with testing or improving security, then the pinch of salt gets upgraded to skeptical cynicism. I feel disinclined to "help" someone who attempts such a transparent deception.
Instead you choose to flame in a very unconstructive fashion.
If you consider that a flame, you haven't yet seen a real one. Maybe the irony was to subtle.
Sure is saintly behaviour.
On this I have to agree with you. But then again, I sometimes play D&D, but I ain't a wizard and I don't have any magical powers.
To the rest of your comments:
Generally, I am very tolorant of people who are trying to learn new things, and will go out of my way to try and assist, but when they try to deceive, my tolorance evaporates.
If you would like to discuss this further, by all means email me at eyacuig001 @ sneakemail.com. That way we can avoid cluttering this place with any more "worthless opinions". Mine or yours.
