skyler has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Good Afternoon Monks, I'm looking for some ideas to write a program that would be able to attach a log file and send it to a few users(People). I haven't use the email commands of perl and I don't know if I need to have an SMTP account created to run this script. I will appreciate any suggestion on how to write this program. Regards

    skyler,
I know it can be a daunting task to start a project when you have no idea where to begin. For future reference, the first place to start is usually searching to see if the answer already exists.

  • this is exactly what you are looking for in Categorized Questions and Answers
  • Super Search would probably help too

    Cheers - L~R
