Currently doing development and support of an in-house incident tracking system, using DBI and DBD::Oracle to access an Oracle DB.

I spent a number of years doing SQA/QA/Testing work, using s‎crip‎ts in shell and perl to automate many functions.

I've used UNIX based systems in various capacities since about 1980 and have worked in the computer field since 1987. Prior to that I spent 10 years at Stanford Medical Center working as an histotechnologist in a Neuropathology laboratory.

My education includes 3 years of postgraduate work in Human Anatomy and a BS degree in Physical Science (pre-Med curriculum).
