Automatic search of samba and nfs shares in local network ?

I wonder where I could start and how should I do automatic search/mount of samba or nfs shares across local (limited part of) network ?

For mounting with samba, see `man smbmount`. If you need to get a list, see also `man smbclient`. You can use a Perl script in a cron job to automate the process.
