michaelg has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi Monks,
I understood that In order to create an exe file out of my perl code I must use PP or PAR , the problem is I can't activate them , it seems that they are not include
in my perl version ( I can run perlcc ).

What do you guys think ? is it the perl version or just something I do wrong ?

If it is the version , where can I download perl package that contain this apps?

Thanks in advance

I must use PP or PAR

No, there are many things you could use. But PAR is usually preferred. Pretty soon, Parrot will also be an option. PAR is not part of the standard distribution. You need to download and install it.
