YahooMessenger procotol updates patch wanted

miyagawa has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Today I've taken over CPAN Net::YahooMessenger module from Hiroyuki Oyama. And there's yet another module that I maintain: POE::Component::YahooMessenger.

Currently, these both modules haven't get updated against Yahoo! Messenger's protocol updates to lock out third party clients. (in Japan, there's been no protocol updates done yet)

If somebody gives me a patch for it, it'd be greatly appreciated. Plase send a patch to miyagawa [at] cpan.org if you have one.

Note that GAIM has been updated to work w/ the new protocol, so you could probably examine the source to determine the requirements and implementation details. bbfu Black flowers blossom Fearless on my breath	[reply]
