I've worked as a system administrator for a while and I started working with linux about a year or so ago. One problem I had with the system was there was no way to let administrators use a gui to let novices have access to the command line programs to the extent I want them to. (yes, I am away that there are numerous guis for most command line programs but no scripts that I've come across). To rectify this, I wrote a simple (somewhat ugly) program which allows an administrator to configure it to be a gui to most command line programs. I called it tkmult. It is a combination of perl and tk. If you are interested, it is available from CPAN.
