First thing I'd do is to check permissions on the .cpanplus directory. If those look OK to you I'd head over to A Guide to Installing Modules and do some quick reading.

Concerning the permissions: `ls -al` gives: `drwxr-xr-x 13 judithdo judithdo 442 13 Nov 23:35 .cpanplus`, so I should have no problem. Concerning the link: I read this (and the readme from CPANPLUS, and all the other stuff I could think of (google, groups.google)) and am still stuck.
