jweed has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
Hello
I use perl (up-to-date) running under cygwin (up-to-date) to do all my development, and I recently have had a recent LWP install snag.
Running cpan LWP does a download of the tar, followed by an extraction. The relavent portion occurs at the end of this untar step:
The question is: Am I experiencing a cygwin problem (tar is messed up) or a LWP/perl/cpan problem?----List of filenames being untarred---- /usr/bin/tar: libwww-perl-5.75/README: Cannot utime: Invalid argument libwww-perl-5.75/lwpcook.pod
Any help would be appreciated
