That gives the XML view of the search page, not what you want. Save the search page you get back somewhere, experiment, figure out just what you want, and then reply to this node, and I'll write up a patch.

It might, but that doesn't seem to work when the search returns a list of possibile pages. Compare a search for 'search plugin' in html mode and to the same search in xml mode
