The little bit of work I did with the Spreadsheet::(Parse|Write)Excel modules made it pretty clear to me that they were not fully functional. The were very usefull to generate a quick excel file.

Then I would open it and generate some graphs and send it to the manager types. Anything beyond that didn't seem worth the effort.
