in reply to Online Perl books

It is expressly disallowed in the O'Reilly copyright statement. What's more, some of the authors of those (and other O'Reilly) books mentioned are known to be strong contributors to the Perlmonks site's daily activity. They don't deserve to have their copyright violated, and their intellectual property freely distributed without permission, and without compensation.

Such sites pop up from time to time. And not surprisingly, such sites disappear from time to time as well.

Hi davido, you mentioned that several authors are actively participating in the daily activities at Perl Monks. I know that merlyn is one of them, 'cause I got one of his books. Do you happen to know any others? Thanks.

It all depends on what you mean by author. I assume that you mean that they have written a book. Here the ones that I can remember right now, in no particular order and definitely missing some: Dominus, Chromatic, davorg, spudzeppelin... Hmm, this list seems a bit short. Considering that merlyn and TheDamian were already mentioned by others, who am I missing?
