Also, while it's common to call them "acronyms", the correct term is "initialisms". Acronyms are a subset of those initialisms which form pronouncable words, such as ANSI, ASCII, DOS or GUI.

Makeshifts last the longest.

I guess I can see that, but.... While you are technically correct, I move this out of the nitpickery realm and into the Anal Retentive realm. Does my opinion even matter here? Probably not, but just wanted to let you know that there are others of us out here. You are not alone! Paulster2	[reply]
