Moved here from Wakefield, MA. A Perl Monger with Boston.pm. Been Perling since 1999. Perl is my first love and then it is Linux. I have been transitioning from IBM mainframe for a while. Got a lucky break this month (December 2003) when I was asked to install Linux on an LPAR (logical partition). I want to actively advance the use of Open Source in the corporate world. I am having a tough time. People think opensource => Linux. I want them to know that there is a lot more. I want to write a book on building systems using Open Source software. Hopefully 2004 will show me a way and give me the will power.
