Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Has anyone created the Perl/MQ module for windows(MA89)?

The instructions I have say to run : 

perl makefile.pl
nmake
nmake test
nmake install

[download]
I get an error message that the 'nmake' is not recognized.

any suggestions,

    Hi,
    You get an error from where that says nmake is not recognised?... I've never heard of Windows MA89... did you mean ME/98?.

    Perhaps nmake.exe isn't in your PATH... do C:\ echo %PATH% to see... otherwise simply specify the C:\full\path\to\nmake.exe.

    and if you don't have nmake installed you can get it here!
