    Try this: 

    perl -e'$a="(.)"x15000;$_="a"x15000;/$a/;print "$15000\n";'

output:
a

    [download]

    Looks like it goes that far if you have the RAM.

    perl -e'$b=unpack"b*",pack"H*","59dfce2d6b1664d3b26cd9969503";\
