Is Perl such an underdog that we need to make mention of this? I mean, why don't we call this a "success story" and post an article about it on perl.com?

When Perl powers Mars rover missions, as Java does, then call me. I am hoping you find my reply provocative and not harsh. Think about what is implicit in your post.

    What is explicit in my post is the pleasant resonance of seeing perl used within a large development team. It's a minor discovery posted on a perl site, that's all.

    Could you be explicit about my supposed implicit message? I'm willing to admit you may have a point, but I'm only guessing what point you are trying to make :)
