A couple weeks ago, I posted the observation that O'Reilly had copyrighted the Perl camel.   A number of monks commented that this is A Good Thing(TM), given the licensing terms, and I tend to agree.

Anyway, I emailed O'Reilly to mention that their camel badge images were a lot bigger than the standard 88x31, and would be visually obtrusive on many pages.   Within a day or two they replied with a couple 88x31 images attached, which they soon added to The Perl Camel Usage and Trademark Information page.

Moral of the story: kudos to O'Reilly for quick response and concern for the Perl community.
