in thread http referer

Why on earth are you doing that, I, and most people, hate it when javascript takes control away from my surfing.

(Not that it would actually work since I turned that stuff off, but still)

Doesn't matter to me in the least actually, this isn't MY script. A client wanted it this way and I'm just supplying it to them. I know about JS and how many people hate it, even I don't like it, but what the client wants..they want and expect. So, for their sake and for my job, have to do it.

Then it's your job to explain to them why that is user-hostile, and will cause some people like me to get the wrong impression of them, and probably not purchase their goods or services.

Seriously, you're the expert here. Why are you taking non-expert advise on something for which you're the expert? That's ineffective and counterproductive, to you, them, and to the world at large.
